The key looks like OWNYOURPROXY-XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX.
In the window, paste it in the License key field at the bottom and click Activate.
In a terminal:
123ownyourproxy license OWNYOURPROXY-XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX

The first iPhone in ownyourproxy list works. The others show Needs a license, and requests through them fail with an error that says why. They never fall back to Wi-Fi.
To use a different iPhone for free, unplug the first one, then forget it:

How the key is checked
OwnYourProxy asks Polar about the key when you enter it, when it starts, and every 6 hours.
When the subscription ends, Polar revokes the key and the next check drops back to one iPhone.
Offline, a key Polar already accepted keeps working for 7 days.
Only the key is sent to Polar. No account, no phone data.
Manage the subscription
Invoices, the key and cancellation are in the Polar customer portal. Sign in with the email you bought with.
